Think one junction ahead
You do not need to press at the exact center of a junction. Your chosen direction is buffered and applied at the next tile where the turn is possible. If that route is blocked, Pac-Man continues in the current direction while it can. A short tap is enough to prepare a turn.
Power pellets are a tool
A large pellet counts toward maze completion and temporarily lets you eat ghosts. Plan an exit before collecting it. Do not waste the effect chasing a ghost into a dead end. The effect does not last for the entire round.
After losing a life
Your position resets and a short protection window lets you regain control. Collected dots stay cleared after losing a life, but a full restart restores them. You need all four large pellets as well as the small dots to win.
Keyboard and touch controls
Arrows or WASD choose direction; P pauses. On mobile use the directional buttons below the board. Focus mode sets aside the surrounding content. This browser adaptation has its own maze; it is not an exact reproduction of the original arcade machine.
